This study aims to explore the stages of religious and psychosocial development of children and integrate them in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in order to build a strong identity and character. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, utilising various relevant literature sources. The results showed that children's religious development includes intuitive stages to the stabilisation of beliefs, while children's psychosocial development based on Erik Erikson's theory includes eight main stages that focus on developmental crises. These two aspects influence each other and are determined by factors such as family, social environment, education, media and community culture. The integration of the stages of religious and psychosocial development in PAI learning is key in forming a generation with faith, morals, and strong character. Adaptive and contextual learning strategies can increase the effectiveness of teaching and strengthening religious values in children. Thus, this study contributes to the development of holistic teaching methods that support children's spiritual and social growth.
