This study examines the effect of QRIS adoption on MSME performance with financial literacy as a mediating variable. The research aims to analyse the direct impact of QRIS use on financial literacy and MSME performance, and the mediating role of financial literacy in strengthening this relationship. A quantitative approach was applied using survey data collected from 500 MSME actors in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4.0 to test both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that QRIS adoption has a significant positive effect on financial literacy and MSME performance. Financial literacy also has a strong positive influence on MSME performance and significantly mediates the relationship between QRIS and MSME performance. These findings confirm that digital payment systems not only improve transaction efficiency but also enhance financial knowledge among MSME actors. The implications suggest that strengthening financial literacy programs is essential to maximise the benefits of QRIS adoption for sustainable MSME development and digital economic transformation in Indonesia.
