This study aims to analyze the transformation of young investors in the Indonesian capital market through a descriptive examination of the growth of Generation Z and Millennial investors during the 2020–2025 period. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Statistics and Investor Statistics published by the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI). Data were analyzed through tables, graphs, and growth percentage calculations based on age and gender demographics. The results reveal that the number of capital market investors increased significantly from 3.88 million Single Investor Identification (SID) accounts in 2020 to 20.35 million in 2025, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 39.29%. Generation Z emerged as the largest investor group, accounting for more than 50% of total investors, while the proportion of Millennial investors showed a consistent upward trend. Overall, young investors comprising Generation Z and Millennials represented approximately 79%–81% of total capital market investors in Indonesia. These findings indicate that the digitalization of investment services, improved financial literacy, and easier access to investment platforms have played a significant role in transforming the demographic structure of investors in the Indonesian capital market
