This bibliometric study maps the pharmacoeconomic research landscape on hypertension in patients with diabetes within a cardiometabolic context, highlighting a sharp increase in publications since 2021 and key themes, such as the cost-effectiveness of antihypertensive therapy. Its novelty lies in the integration of reporting quality analysis using CHEERS 2022 and Drummond on 140 articles, which revealed an average compliance of 68.3%, with major weaknesses in discounting, sensitivity, and policy interpretation, rarely encountered in similar bibliometric studies. This research is relevant for developing countries like Indonesia, which face a local evidence gap in optimizing National Health Insurance policies and chronic disease management.
