This study aims to examine the role of communication in organizations, especially in improving operational effectiveness, decision making, and building organizational culture. The method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing various sources such as journals, books, and articles related to organizational communication. The results of the study reveal that communication in organizations has an important role through four main functions: informative, regulatory, persuasive, and integrative. Effective communication can encourage better coordination, increase employee motivation, and support innovation. However, there are several communication barriers such as structural, psychological, and cultural factors that can reduce its effectiveness. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing a communication strategy that combines technology with direct interaction to maintain the humanistic aspect in the organization.
