<![CDATA[This research focuses on the implementation of podcast and vodcast as digital media in teaching listening skills to Grade X students at SMK Ma’arif NU 1 Ajibarang. The main purpose of this study is to describe how podcast and vodcast are applied in the teaching-learning process, to analyze students’ and teachers’ responses, and to identify the challenges faced during their implementation. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the integration of podcast and vodcast significantly improves students’ listening comprehension, motivation, and engagement. Podcasts help learners enhance auditory focus and vocabulary mastery, while vodcasts connect audio with visual cues to strengthen understanding. However, challenges such as limited internet access, lack of concentration, and teachers’ difficulty in managing technology-based learning were found. In conclusion, podcast and vodcast are effective media in improving students’ listening learning when supported by proper facilities, teacher readiness, and active student participation.
