employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through digital literacy socialization activities at SMPN 2 Wanayasa. The socialization was delivered by one member of the research team as a speaker, involving 96 ninth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, question-and-answer sessions, and joint reflection. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding of digital literacy, with 75% of students able to recognize the characteristics of hoax news and 65% demonstrating more caution in online communication. Thus, PAR-based digital literacy socialization proved effective in raising adolescents’ awareness of using social media intelligently and responsibly.
