<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis kuasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Susu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-2 dijadikan sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini melibatkan jenis instrument yaitu tes yang berupa tes uraian pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS), Pembelajaran Jigsaw, kemampuan komunikasi matematis ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the differences between the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model and the Jigsaw learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Susu. The samples in this study were 2 classes, namely class VIII-1 which was used as the experimental class and class VIII-2 which was used as the control class. This research involves a type of instrument, namely a test in the form of a description test on relationship and function material. This shows that there are differences between the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model and the Jigsaw learning model on students' mathematical communication abilities. ]]>
