This study aimed to analyze the condition of electrical laboratory facilities, students’ practical competence in electrical measurement, and the relationship between laboratory facilities and the competence of Grade X Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) students at SMK Negeri 3 Tondano. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed. All 30 Grade X TITL students were selected using saturated sampling. Laboratory facility data were collected through questionnaires and observation, while practical competence data were obtained from observation and documented practical scores. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Laboratory facilities obtained a mean score of 124.47, equivalent to 82.98%, and were categorized as very good. Students’ practical competence had a mean score of 20.43, equivalent to 81.73%, and was also categorized as very good. Regression analysis showed a statistically significant but negative relationship (β = −0.412; p = 0.024), with R² = 0.169. Thus, laboratory facilities accounted for 16.9% of the variance in practical competence. The study was limited to 30 students from one class and included laboratory facilities as the sole predictor. The findings indicate that practical competence is multifactorial and should be considered alongside student readiness, practice intensity, instructional strategies, learning experiences, and teacher guidance.
