This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic Religious Education materials as a curriculum development strategy toward meaningful learning in Islamic junior secondary schools. The study employed a library research approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant books, scientific articles, and previous research. The data were analyzed using content analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed three main results. First, Ralph W. Tyler's curriculum development theory serves as a relevant conceptual foundation for curriculum design through the alignment of learning objectives, learning experiences, the organization of learning experiences, and evaluation. Second, horizontal and vertical integration of learning materials reduces curriculum overload and content overlap, resulting in a more systematic, coherent, and competency-oriented learning process. Third, the implementation of the deep learning approach promotes contextual, reflective, and student-centered learning through mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning experiences. Therefore, the integration of Islamic Religious Education materials represents an effective curriculum development strategy for fostering meaningful learning that is relevant to the demands of twenty-first-century education.
