This study aims to analyze the implementation of the halal assistance program and its influence on the level of halal certification compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Makassar City. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME owners who had participated in the halal assistance program, while secondary data were used as supporting information. Data analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), including descriptive analysis and a partial t-test. The results indicate that the halal assistance program has a positive and significant effect on the level of halal certification compliance among MSMEs, as demonstrated by a t-value of 15.327 and a significance level of 0.000. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.397 indicates that the halal assistance program contributes 39.7% to the level of MSME compliance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Therefore, the halal assistance program plays an important role in improving MSME compliance with halal certification. Strengthening and continuously developing the assistance program is necessary to support increased halal certification compliance among MSMEs in Makassar City.
