Various internal and external factors influence investment decisions, particularly financial literacy and income. This study applies a systematic literature review (SLR) to examine the relationship between financial literacy, income, and investment decisions. The review includes 18 full-text articles published in Indonesian or English between 2021 and 2025 in national and international journals indexed by SINTA or Scopus. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the findings show that financial literacy generally improves investment decision-making by enhancing individuals’ understanding of financial concepts, investment instruments, and risk management. Income also frequently has a positive effect on investment decisions by increasing individuals’ capacity to allocate funds for investment, although several studies report different findings.
