The ability of fifth-grade students at MI Kadupugur to memorize Qur'anic verses was still low and not optimal. This study aimed to determine the effect of Drill-Based Tahfidz Method on students' verse memorization ability. The research employed a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 28 students selected through Simple Random Sampling. Data were collected through oral tests and analyzed using Paired Sample t-Test, N-Gain, and Cohen's d. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 19.64 (pretest) to 26.50 (posttest). The Paired Sample t-Test obtained a t-value of -13.219 with a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. The N-Gain test showed a moderate improvement category (0.590), while Cohen's d indicated a large effect (2.00). The study concluded that the Drill-Based Tahfidz Method had a significant effect on improving the ability of fifth-grade students at MI Kadupugur to memorize Qur'anic verses.
