Indonesia is among the countries facing environmental health issues, such as Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Active community involvement in management efforts can be achieved through mosquito breeding site eradication using the “3M” practices. Housewives play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness around the home; thus, their level of knowledge is presumed to influence behaviors related to DHF management. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge regarding DHF and 3M practices among housewives in Pekauman Village, Gresik Regency. An observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. A total of 109 respondents were selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using univariate and bivariate (Chi-Square) tests at a 95% confidence level. The majority of respondents demonstrated a “sufficient” level of knowledge (89.9%) and “good” 3M practices (59.6%). The results revealed a significant association between the level of knowledge and 3M practices (p = 0.004). Good knowledge regarding DHF is associated with the implementation of 3M practices. Efforts to strengthen DHF prevention can be pursued through improved and enhanced health education and promotion initiatives.
