The aging process in the elderly often leads to a decline in physiological functions, including reduced motor activity, impaired sensory function, and diminished cognitive abilities such as memory and concentration. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Group Activity Therapy (GAT) "Eling lan Obah," which combines color memory games and ball transfer activities using plastic cups, to stimulate cognitive and motor functions among elderly residents at Wisma Sapto Pratolo, BPSTW. A quasi-experimental approach with pre-test and post-test evaluations was utilized involving six elderly participants who met specific inclusion criteria. The color memory game was designed to train recall and concentration, whereas the ball transfer game focused on eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills. The results indicated noticeable improvements in concentration, recall speed, and hand-eye coordination among the majority of participants post-intervention. Furthermore, the group dynamic fostered increased social interaction, confidence, and active participation while reducing boredom. In conclusion, GAT "Eling lan Obah" serves as an effective non-pharmacological nursing intervention to maintain and enhance cognitive and motor functions in the elderly within institutional care settings.
