A miniature hydraulic forklift is a tool that can be used as a learning medium, simulation, or prototype for a goods lifting system. Structural strength is an important aspect that determines the safety level of a miniature hydraulic forklift during loading. This study aims to analyze the structural strength of a miniature hydraulic forklift using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method based on Von Mises stress, displacement, and safety factor parameters. The study was conducted by creating a three-dimensional model of a miniature hydraulic forklift using Autodesk Fusion 360, then conducting static simulations with loading variations of 9.81 N, 19.6 N, and 29.4 N. The simulation results show that a 9.81 N load produces a maximum Von Mises stress of 19.154 MPa, a maximum displacement of 24.780 mm, and a safety factor of 1.044. A 19.6 N load produces a maximum Von Mises stress of 38.308 MPa, a maximum displacement of 49.561 mm, and a safety factor of 0.522. The 29.4 N load produces a maximum Von Mises stress of 57.461 MPa, a maximum displacement of 74.341 mm, and a safety factor of 0.348. The highest stress distribution occurs in the connection area between the fork and the fork seat which is a critical part of the structure. The results of the study indicate that increasing the load causes an increase in the Von Mises stress and displacement values and a decrease in the safety factor value. The miniature hydraulic forklift structure is still safe to use at a load of 9.81 N because it has a safety factor value greater than one, while loads of 19.6 N and 29.4 N indicate unsafe conditions. The results of this study can be the basis for developing a miniature hydraulic forklift design that has a better lifting capacity and safety level.
