<![CDATA[The ability to read the Qur'an is an important competency in Islamic education that requires mastery of tajweed and the skills to apply it directly. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of learning the Book of Syifaul Jinan in improving the reading ability of the Qur'an of students at the SPMAA Bali Islamic Boarding School. Method/Approach: The study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects amounted to 30 students who participated in the measurement of the ability to read the Qur'an before and after learning. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality test, paired-samples t-test, and N-gain. Results: The results showed that the average score increased from 70.80 in the pretest to 75.80 in the posttest, with all participants improving. The results of the paired-samples t-test showed a significant difference between the score before and after learning (t(29) = 13.04; p < .001). However, the N-gain value of 0.193 was in the low category. Thus, the learning of the Book of Syifaul Jinan has a positive and significant effect on the ability to read the Qur'an, although the improvement achieved is still limited so that it requires continuous learning and mentoring.]]>
