Online gambling is a growing social problem with advances in information and communication technology. Ease of access through digital devices means online gambling can be done anytime and anywhere, potentially leading to various negative impacts, such as addiction, financial loss, social problems, and disruption to family life. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of the people of Siparau Village, Barumun Tengah District, Padang Lawas Regency regarding the dangers of online gambling and its prevention efforts. The activity was held on August 10, 2026, at the Community Service Group 12 Command Post of STAIN Mandailing Natal, with approximately 150 participants. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which included planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The activity was carried out through presentations using PowerPoint media, followed by discussions and questions and answers. Prior to the presentation, a pretest was conducted to determine the community's initial level of understanding. The results showed that most participants initially had limited knowledge about the dangers of online gambling. After being educated, the community showed an increased understanding of the definition, forms, causal factors, risks, legal aspects, and preventive measures for online gambling. This activity also encourages the public, especially teenagers, to be more aware of the negative impacts of online gambling and strive to avoid it. Thus, education through KKN activities can be a preventative measure to raise public awareness of the dangers of online gambling.
