<![CDATA[Milk is a functional food containing various bioactive compounds, one of which is Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which is known to possess antioxidant activity and play a role in lipid metabolism regulation. CLA is a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids naturally formed through the biohydrogenation process in the rumen of ruminant animals and is commonly found in milk and dairy products. This article aimed to review the role of CLA in milk on antioxidant activity and metabolic health based on recent literature studies. This study was conducted using a narrative literature review method through article searches in the PubMed and ScienceDirect databases published between 2015 and 2025 using keywords related to CLA, milk, antioxidant activity, and metabolic health. The initial search identified 3,357 articles. After the selection process based on topic relevance, full-text availability, and content suitability, 22 articles were included in this review. The findings showed that CLA could increase antioxidant enzyme activity, reduce oxidative stress, improve lipid profiles, and support metabolic and cardiovascular health. Therefore, CLA has the potential to be developed as a functional food component beneficial to health.]]>
