This study aimed to improve students’ speaking skills through the use of Picture-to-Picture media in Indonesian language learning among third-grade students at SDIT Bunaya, Bogor City. The study was motivated by the students’ limited ability to express ideas, interact with peers, and participate actively in classroom activities. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were the third-grade teacher and students of SDIT Bunaya during the 2023/2024 academic year. The instructional intervention employed Picture-to-Picture media to support students in developing ideas, organizing information, and expressing their thoughts orally. The findings indicated an improvement in students’ speaking skills and classroom participation. In the second cycle, the students’ learning outcomes reached an average score of 81.6, indicating an improvement compared with the first cycle. The use of Picture-to-Picture media also encouraged students to interact more actively, express their opinions, and participate in Indonesian language learning activities, particularly in the topic of weather changes. Therefore, Picture-to-Picture media can serve as an alternative instructional medium for improving elementary students’ speaking skills and promoting a more interactive learning process.
