Background: Sexual violence and exposure to pornography are issues that may negatively affect students’ psychological, social, moral, and personal safety. Easy access to digital information and limited literacy regarding sexual violence, consent, the effects of pornography, legal aspects, and reporting mechanisms may increase students’ vulnerability. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and awareness of sexual violence prevention and the risks of pornography at STIKES Griya Husada Surabaya. Methods: The activity was conducted through interactive education and counseling, including material presentations, group discussions or case studies, and question-and-answer sessions. The materials covered forms of sexual violence, the neurological and psychological effects of pornography, the importance of consent, relevant legal regulations, and reporting mechanisms through the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS). Students were actively involved throughout the activity to improve their ability to recognize, prevent, and appropriately respond to sexual violence. Results: The activity demonstrated increased students’ understanding and awareness of forms of sexual violence, the effects of pornography, the importance of consent, legal regulations, and reporting mechanisms through Satgas PPKS. Students were also encouraged to become peer educators in creating a safe campus environment free from sexual violence. Conclusion: Education on sexual violence prevention and the risks of pornography can improve students’ knowledge and awareness. Continuous education, strengthening the role of Satgas PPKS, and student involvement are needed to support a safe and inclusive higher education environment.
