This study examines the implementation of behavior contract techniques to improve student discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that behavior contracts—supported by periodic evaluations and positive reinforcement—effectively reduced behavioral issues such as truancy and tardiness. Despite challenges regarding student motivation, limited school guidance and counseling resources, and parental involvement, the technique achieved an 80% success rate in improving overall student discipline.
