decline in service quality. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of communication between librarians and users and to analyze the extent of its influence on the quality of circulation services. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive and associative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 356 respondents and analyzed using statistical tests, including normality test, linearity test, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination. The results show that the effectiveness of librarian communication is in the good category with a mean score of 39.84, while the quality of circulation services is also in the good category with a mean score of 41.12. The normality test indicates that the data are normally distributed, and the linearity test shows a linear relationship between the two variables. The correlation analysis yields an r value of 0.665, indicating a strong relationship, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), meaning it is statistically significant. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.665 indicates that the effectiveness of librarian communication contributes 66.5% to the quality of circulation services. Thus, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, indicating a positive and significant influence of librarian communication effectiveness on the quality of circulation services. This finding emphasizes that improving librarians’ communication skills is essential to enhance the overall quality of library services.
