<![CDATA[Hypertension requires long-term treatment and sustained medication adherence to prevent complications. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge levels, family support, and antihypertensive medication adherence among patients at the Karanglewas Community Health Center (Puskesmas). This quantitative, cross-sectional study involved 77 respondents registered in the Prolanis program, selected via random sampling. The instruments used included the HKLS questionnaire, a family support scale, and the MMAS-8. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test and multinomial logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of respondents were female (66.2%), aged 55–65 years (46%), and possessed a moderate level of knowledge (40.3%), moderate family support (41.6%), and moderate medication adherence (39%). The chi-square test revealed significant associations between medication adherence and both knowledge level (p = 0.001; Contingency Coefficient = 0.712) and family support (p = 0.001; Contingency Coefficient = 0.602). Multinomial regression analysis indicated significant associations for moderate knowledge levels (OR = 5.452; 95% CI: 1.292–23.013; p = 0.001) and moderate family support (OR = 15.201; 95% CI: 3.240–71.319; p = 0.001). These findings demonstrate that knowledge level and family support are strongly associated with, and serve as important predictors of, medication adherence among hypertensive patients.]]>
