<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the process and form of self-acceptance of the main character in the novel Yang Katana Cemara by Vania Winola through the conflict he experiences. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literary psychology approach based on Carl Rogers' theory. The data source is the novel Yang Katanya Cemara (2023), with data collection techniques through literature study. The research results show that the conflict experienced by the main character originates from family dynamics and changes in family structure which affect his emotional condition, such as anxiety, sadness and insecurity. The process of self-acceptance takes place in stages, starting from the formation of a self-concept, the emergence of a discrepancy between the ideal self and the real self, until positive regard is obtained from the immediate environment. The forms of self-acceptance achieved include emotional acceptance, real self-acceptance, and processual acceptance. In the end, the main character is able to accept his family's condition, reduce the tendency to blame himself, and have emotional stability and a more positive self-view. This research concludes that self-acceptance is formed through a gradual process that is influenced by emotional experiences and environmental support, so that family dynamics play an important role in the character's psychological development.]]>
