Abstract

Rapid urban residential development in South Tangerang City demands strategic environmental governance driven by innovative digital technology to mitigate the impacts of domestic wastewater pollution. This study aims to formulate strategic management recommendations for domestic wastewater control by deploying spatial distribution modeling through the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method within a Geographic Information System (GIS) framework to accelerate SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) targets. A comparative study was conducted across two modern residential clusters with distinct structural attributes (Citra Garden and Asanna), utilizing primary wastewater quality parameters (BOD, COD, TSS) systematically monitored during Semesters I and II of 2024–2025. The IDW geospatial simulation indicates that pollutant concentrations are continuously distributed, establishing radial dispersion contours around discharge outlets (local influence zones). Empirical laboratory testing confirms that while current effluent quality physically complies with PerMenLH/BPLH No. 11 of 2025 standards, the digital spatial overlay reveals a notable expansion of regional pollution risk corridors heavily intensified by seasonal rainfall fluctuations. Furthermore, linear regression tracking points to a strong negative correlation between geometric distance and pollutant concentration (R² values ranging from 0.77 to 0.86), validating the dominance of natural hydrodynamic dilution processes within urban receiving streams. This paper recommends the Spatially Targeted Intervention (STI) model as an executive decision making tool for corporate developers and municipal authorities to implement ecoefficient smart sanitation green technology infrastructure.
