Abstract

Qur'an–Hadith learning in Islamic elementary schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) in Sabang, Aceh, requires digital learning media that can present instructional materials in an engaging, contextual, and accessible manner, in line with the demands of 21st-century education. However, classroom instruction remains largely dependent on textbooks and lecture-based methods, resulting in the limited use of digital instructional media. This study aims to develop a valid and practical Qur'an–Hadith e-booklet based on Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat, Verse 13, as digital teaching material for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Sabang, Aceh. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, expert validation questionnaires, and teacher practicality questionnaires. The findings indicate that the developed e-booklet was categorized as valid to highly valid based on evaluations by subject matter, media, and language experts and as highly practical based on teacher assessments. This study contributes to the development of digital learning media for Qur'an–Hadith instruction by producing an e-booklet based on Surah Al-Hujurat, Verse 13, that meets the criteria of validity and practicality. The e-booklet provides alternative digital teaching material to support engaging and contextual Qur'an–Hadith learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
