This study aims to synthesize the development of research in Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) by mapping publication trends, developments in concepts and theoretical perspectives, methodological characteristics, research topics, research gaps, and future research agendas. The study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with reference to the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). The literature search was conducted in the Scopus database, resulting in 243 articles in the identification stage, which were then selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to obtain 39 articles for in-depth analysis. The results of the synthesis show that GHRM research has undergone significant development, especially in the last decade, marked by an increasing number of publications, a broader scope of concepts, diverse theoretical perspectives used, and the predominance of quantitative approaches with cross-sectional designs. Furthermore, the research topic has evolved from a focus on environmental performance to various issues of organizational sustainability, such as green innovation, green creativity, green intellectual capital, and pro-environmental behavior. This study also identifies several conceptual, theoretical, and methodological gaps that still require attention and formulates a future research agenda that emphasizes conceptual strengthening, theoretical integration, methodological diversification, and broadening the research context. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive synthesis of the development of Green Human Resource Management and is expected to serve as a reference for the future development of research and implementation of Green Human Resource Management.
