Abstract

Employee productivity is an important predictor of organizational performance, especially in rural administrative settings where human resources are minimal. Using a qualitative method, this study investigates the influence of job quality, supervision, and working conditions on employee productivity in Barukan Village. In-depth interviews and theme analysis were used to gather data on the important elements impacting productivity. According to the findings, employees' access to training and resources has a major impact on job quality, but supervision is critical in motivating and improving performance outcomes. Abstract

Employee motivation is a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness, particularly in public sector institutions such as BAPPEDA Sleman. This study examines the factors influencing employee motivation by analyzing intrinsic and extrinsic motivational drivers. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with employees and management personnel. The findings indicate that public service motivation remains a strong intrinsic driver, fostering employee commitment and engagement. However, extrinsic factors, including leadership style, work environment, career advancement opportunities, and reward systems, also significantly impact motivation levels. Transformational leadership was found to enhance motivation by providing employees with a clear vision, recognition, and support. Conversely, bureaucratic constraints and excessive administrative burdens were identified as demotivating factors. The study highlights the importance of balancing intrinsic and extrinsic motivation through structured human resource policies, leadership development programs, and workplace improvements. The implications suggest that government institutions should adopt comprehensive strategies that integrate psychological and structural aspects of motivation to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. Future research should explore the long-term effects of motivational strategies and compare public and private sector approaches to motivation. By addressing the identified motivational challenges, public institutions can improve employee performance and contribute more effectively to regional development.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of artificial intelligence, big data, and cultural heritage in tourism marketing in Klaten Regency. The study looks at how AI-driven customisation, data analytics, and cultural authenticity help to boost tourist engagement and destination competitiveness. The study uses qualitative methodologies, including interviews with tourism stakeholders and content analysis, to identify significant themes such as AI-driven recommendation systems, data-driven decision-making, and cultural storytelling. The findings indicate that AI-powered solutions considerably improve consumer experiences, and Big Data analytics boost strategic planning and market segmentation. Furthermore, cultural heritage remains an important aspect in attracting tourists, with digital storytelling and immersive technology helping to preserve and promote Klaten's cultural treasures. AI-powered interactive experiences, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), enhance visitor engagement, making cultural institutions more accessible and desirable. The study emphasizes the importance of predictive analytics in studying visitor behavior and customizing marketing techniques to enhance destination branding. Despite these benefits, issues such as technology infrastructure, data protection concerns, and the digital gap between enterprises remain. Addressing these issues needs collaboration among local governments, tourist stakeholders, and technology suppliers to promote inclusive and ethical AI deployment. The study has theoretical and managerial implications, underlining the importance of sustainable digital strategy and responsible AI implementation. Future research should focus on building AI-powered smart tourism ecosystems in order to promote ethical and culturally sensitive tourist development.

Abstract

This research looks into BUMDes Murakabi's tourist marketing techniques in Kebondalem Kidul, with a focus on the importance of cultural integration in tourism growth. The study takes a qualitative approach, relying on interviews and document analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (TOWS) influencing tourist marketing. The data show that BUMDes Murakabi employs a combination of digital and conventional marketing methods, such as social media promotions, influencer partnerships, and local cultural events. Despite these attempts, problems such as inadequate digital marketing knowledge, budget limits, and infrastructural limitations impede tourist growth. The report uses a TOWS analysis to make strategic suggestions. Key assets include a rich cultural past and active community engagement, but drawbacks such as limited promotional reach and dependency on seasonal tourists pose challenges. The increased interest in cultural and sustainable tourism creates opportunities, but problems such as competition and shifting visitor tastes represent considerable hazards. The strategy proposals focus on utilizing cultural heritage, improving digital marketing skills, procuring finance, and enhancing crisis management frameworks. This study adds to the theoretical framework of sustainable tourism marketing and offers practical insights to policymakers and tourism stakeholders. The findings emphasize the significance of balancing commercialization with cultural authenticity in order to achieve long-term viability. Future research should investigate the long-term impact of these initiatives on community resilience and economic growth. BUMDes Murakabi can strengthen its tourist competitiveness by combining cultural preservation with creative marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study explores the strategies employed by female farmers in Rokan Hulu Regency, Indonesia, in balancing dual roles as agricultural workers and homemakers. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with 16 female farmers across 13 villages and 1 urban ward in Rambah District. The research identifies the underlying motivations for assuming dual roles, including economic necessity, family tradition, and personal identity, while also examining the types of work-family conflict experienced. Findings reveal that the most common conflicts are time-based, emotional, and behavioral, where women struggle to manage domestic duties alongside physically demanding agricultural work. To address these challenges, participants adopt adaptive strategies such as strict time management, role negotiation within the household, utilization of labor-saving tools, and reliance on community support networks. The study is grounded in Role Theory and the Work-Life Balance framework, highlighting how female farmers constantly negotiate conflicting demands in socio-economically constrained environments. The findings underscore the importance of gender-sensitive agricultural policy, particularly in providing support services such as childcare, flexible work arrangements, and psychosocial assistance. This research contributes to broader discourses on gender, rural labor, and agrarian resilience, and emphasizes the urgent need for structural interventions to alleviate the burden of work-family conflict faced by women in traditional agricultural systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of social media usage on the marketing effectiveness of homemade bread MSMEs in the digital era. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as the backbone of Indonesia's national economy, are currently facing significant challenges amid global competition and shifting consumer behavior. Marketing through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and TikTok is considered an effective solution, offering low operational costs, broad market reach, and direct interaction with consumers. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature reviews and secondary data analysis to comprehensively understand this phenomenon. The analysis reveals that social media utilization has a positive influence on brand visibility, sales volume growth, and customer loyalty among homemade bread MSMEs. However, several challenges remain, including limited digital literacy, inconsistency in content creation, and underutilization of paid advertising features. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening the digital capacity of MSME actors through continuous training and multi-stakeholder collaboration to optimize social media-based marketing strategies. By leveraging social media effectively, homemade bread MSMEs have the potential to expand their market reach, enhance competitiveness, and reinforce business resilience in the face of an increasingly digitalized market landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and vegetable quality on consumers' purchasing decisions. Vegetables are a basic necessity for humans and are consumed daily, making factors such as price and quality key considerations in purchasing decisions. The vegetables sold in the market are harvested by farmers and collected by vegetable distributors. The demand for vegetables continues to increase along with public awareness of healthy lifestyles. However, higher vegetable prices can reduce consumers' purchasing power and potentially affect food security. Conversely, stable and affordable prices can increase vegetable consumption, support healthy eating habits, and strengthen household-level food security. The research method used is qualitative descriptive through a literature review. This study analyzes various previous relevant literature, both from national and international journals, totaling 20 journals, to identify patterns and common findings regarding the relationship between price, quality, and purchasing decisions. The review results show that price plays an important role in attracting initial consumer interest, while product quality plays a key role in maintaining consumer satisfaction and loyalty. This study provides a theoretical contribution by summarizing previous research findings and offers direction for future studies. Moreover, traders and market managers need to maintain price stability and improve product quality in order to sustain consumer loyalty.
