The discrimination refers to the unequal treatment of individual and unfair treatment, based on gender, race, religion or other characteristics. The data are subsequently analyzed using a qualitative method to draw conclusion through deductive reasoning, this research examines the forms of discrimination against women that are inconsistent with Law Number 7 of 1984, as well as the efforts that should be undertaken to promote gender equality within the company. The findings indicate that the company has not opened job opportunities for women in the field of machine maintenance. Furthermore, the company maintains stereotypes and perceptions that women are incapable of performing machine maintenance because they are considered physically weak and easily fatigued. Women are also perceived as being unsuitable for jobs predominantly performed by men due to gender-based assumptions regarding their supposedly feminine characteristics. These practices demonstrate the existence of gender discrimination in access to employment opportunities, particularly in occupations traditionally dominated by men. Therefore, efforts to promote gender equality are necessary to ensure that employment opportunities are based on competence and qualifications rather than gender.
