Constipation in infants aged 0–6 months is uncommon but can affect comfort, nutrition, and growth and development. This condition requires non-pharmacological management because the infant’s digestive system is not yet mature. A holistic approach involving abdominal massage, nutritional education, exclusive breastfeeding, and psychological support can help manage functional constipation. This case report aimed to describe the assessment, analysis, and midwifery management of a 2-month-old female infant with constipation at TPMB Nanik Irawati, Geger District, Bangkalan Regency. A qualitative descriptive case study method was used. Data were collected through maternal interviews, abdominal physical examination, prenatal and natal history, psychosocial analysis, and a 7-day stool diary, and were documented using the SOAP format. Interventions included I Love You abdominal massage for 10–15 minutes/day, maternal nutritional education, exclusive breastfeeding on demand, and psychological support. Evaluation on day 7 showed an improvement in bowel movement frequency from once every 4 days to once every 2 days, reduced abdominal distension, increased body weight from 4,700 g to 5,300 g, greater infant comfort, and improved sleep quality. The holistic approach helped manage functional constipation and can be implemented at home with the active involvement of parents and family.
