This study aims to design hardware and software to monitor and analyze the potential of wind energy generated by the movement of vehicles on the highway in real-time. Wind speed data collection uses three anemometer sensors installed at an altitude of 1 meter, 2 meters, and 3 meters from the ground level, located on the side of the road in front of the Pamulang Community Health Center. The data processing system uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller which processes analog sensor readings, saves backup data on the SD card, and uploads data using cellular networks via the SIM900 GSM Shield module every 10 minutes. Field testing was carried out for 24 hours adjusting to heavy vehicle traffic conditions. The analysis results show the system works well where the average daily wind speed was recorded at 7.54 m/s for the first anemometer, 11.27 m/s for the second anemometer, and 11.67 m/s for the third anemometer. These results prove that the monitoring system device works accurately in sending and displaying wind fluctuation data in real-time to the cekanemometer.com database website
