Infant motor development is influenced by various factors, one of which is nutritional intake. Breast milk (ASI) is the best source of nutrition for infants because it contains nutrients and bioactive components that support the development of the nervous system and motor function. This study aims to determine the differences in motor development among infants aged 7–12 months who receive breast milk compared to those who receive formula milk in the working area of Jailolo Community Health Center in 2026. The study used a comparative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 66 infants, divided into 33 infants in the breast milk group and 33 infants in the formula milk group, selected using purposive sampling. Motor development data were collected using a developmental assessment sheet and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that in the breast milk group, 26 infants (78.8%) had age-appropriate motor development and 7 infants (21.2%) were in the doubtful category. In the formula milk group, 18 infants (54.5%) had age-appropriate motor development and 15 infants (45.5%) were in the doubtful category. The Chi-Square test results showed a p-value of 0.041 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the motor development of infants receiving breast milk and formula milk. It was concluded that infants who receive breast milk tend to have better motor development compared to those who receive formula milk.
