This study aims to determine the effect of the Shopee PayLater feature and ease of use on the consumer behavior of students of the Sharia Financial Management Study Program (MKS) UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²) with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that the Shopee PayLater feature (X1) had no significant effect on consumer behavior, with a calculated t-value of 1.306 and a significance value of 0.197 (>0.05). Meanwhile, ease of use (X2) had a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior, with a calculated t-value of 2.657 and a significance value of 0.010 (<0.05). Simultaneously, the Shopee PayLater feature and ease of use had a significant effect on student consumer behavior. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.302 indicates that the two variables explain 30.2% of the variation in consumer behavior, while the remaining 69.8% is influenced by other variables outside the study. This study concludes that Shopee PayLater's ease of use is a more influential factor in student consumer behavior than its features. Therefore, students are expected to be more judicious in utilizing PayLater services to maintain responsible financial management and in accordance with sound financial management principles.
