Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a chronic illness that requires routine hemodialysis therapy. One of the main problems in hemodialysis patients is fluid accumulation between dialysis sessions, measured by Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG). Adherence to a fluid diet is an important factor in controlling IDWG. To analyze the relationship between the level of fluid diet adherence and IDWG in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Bhayangkara Hospital Tk. III Banjarmasin. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 45 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data on fluid diet adherence were obtained through questionnaires, while IDWG was calculated from the difference in body weight between hemodialysis sessions. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that most patients were adherent to the fluid diet, with 35 respondents (77.8%), and had mild IDWG values (<4%) as many as 36 respondents (75.6%) with a p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). There is a significant relationship between fluid diet adherence and IDWG in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
