Greening programs are one of the efforts to improve environmental quality while utilizing vacant land to provide benefits for the community. This activity was carried out in the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) gardens of RW 04, RW 05, and RW 06 in Pundungan Village through the Community Service Program (KKN). The activity aimed to increase community awareness of the importance of greening, utilize vacant land as productive land, and support household food security. The implementation methods included site surveys, coordination with the village government and PKK cadres, seedling procurement, socialization, joint planting activities with the community, and initial maintenance assistance. The results showed that the program was successfully implemented with high community participation. Hundreds of food crop seedlings, including chili, eggplant, tomato, mustard greens, and water spinach, were planted, along with 60 avocado, petai, tabebuya, and gmelina trees. The activity also encouraged community members to independently maintain the plants. The program provided ecological benefits through increased vegetation cover and land utilization, as well as socio-economic benefits through strengthened mutual cooperation and the potential for additional household food sources. Program sustainability requires regular maintenance and continuous pest control.
