This research is motivated by the importance of human resource management strategies in retaining technical personnel with specialized competencies in the field of aviation. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey method thru the distribution of questionnaires to 32 respondents from the aircraft technical personnel. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The research results indicate that all research instruments are declared valid and reliable. The work environment and leadership partially have a positive and significant effect on job retention with regression coefficient values of 0.412 and 0.533, respectively. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect job retention with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.640, indicating that the work environment and leadership can explain 64% of the variation in job retention among aircraft engineering personnel.
