<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the moral values in the novel Senandung Cinta Elisa by Dewi Estanty and describe its suitability as teaching material for literary appreciation in high school. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data source is the novel Senandung Cinta Elisa by Dewi Estanty. The research data are in the form of narrative excerpts, dialogues, and character behaviors that contain moral values. The data collection technique is carried out through documentation studies with reading and note-taking techniques, while the data analysis technique is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the novel Senandung Cinta Elisa contains moral values that include human relationships with God, oneself, and others. These moral values are reflected through religious attitudes, responsibility, honesty, empathy, caring, and mutual respect. This novel is suitable as teaching material for literary appreciation in high school because it fulfills the language, psychological, and cultural background aspects that are appropriate to the development of students. In addition, this novel is relevant for supporting character formation and strengthen students’ moral values.]]>
