Microbial contamination in skincare products may occur due to improper storage and usage, potentially causing various skin health problems, including skin irritation, allergic reactions, infections, and reduced product effectiveness. Limited public knowledge regarding skincare safety is one of the factors that increases this risk, particularly in relation to unhygienic application practices, sharing skincare products with others, and storing products under unsuitable environmental conditions. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge and awareness regarding the safe use of skincare products to prevent microbial contamination and maintain skin health. The methods employed included health education, interactive discussions, and counseling on the proper selection, use, and storage of skincare products in accordance with recommended hygiene practices. Participants were also encouraged to actively ask questions and discuss common issues encountered in their daily skincare routines. The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding, with the average knowledge score increasing from 53.8% at pre-test to 90.1% at post-test. This educational program is expected to enhance safe skincare practices among the community, promote greater awareness of product hygiene, reduce the risk of microbial contamination, and ultimately support the maintenance of healthy skin through appropriate and consistent skincare habits
