Emotional and mental disorders among adolescents are an increasing public health problem that can affect social functioning, academic performance, and quality of life. Adolescents are a vulnerable group because they undergo physical, psychological, and social transitions. Internal factors such as self-concept and self-esteem, as well as external factors including authoritarian parenting, peer support, and bullying, are considered to influence emotional and mental disorders. This study aimed to identify factors influencing emotional and mental disorders among adolescents in the working area of Simpang IV Sipin Public Health Center, Jambi City, in 2026. This study used an analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of adolescents aged 15-18 years, with a sample of 423 respondents selected using accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate logistic regression analyses. The results showed significant relationships between self-concept, self-esteem, authoritarian parenting, peer support, and bullying and emotional and mental disorders among adolescents. Multivariate analysis indicated that the most dominant factor was the variable with the greatest effect in the final model. In conclusion, emotional and mental disorders among adolescents are influenced by both internal and external factors. Preventive and promotive efforts involving families, schools, peers, and health services are needed to reduce emotional and mental disorders among adolescents
