The increasing number of visitors to Curug Cilember requires effective visitor management to maintain a balance between tourism activities, environmental quality, and visitor experiences. This study aims to analyze the implementation of visitor management at Curug Cilember in addressing visitor management issues in a natural tourism area. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that visitor management has been implemented through five main dimensions: tourism impact control, visitor behavior management, visitor management strategies, visitor monitoring, and communication and education. However, its implementation remains suboptimal because it is still partial, unevenly integrated across zones, and tends to be reactive rather than preventive. Management disparities between the lower and upper areas were also identified, particularly in the provision of facilities, information, supervision, monitoring, and communication. These conditions have resulted in visitor distribution remaining concentrated at several major tourist attractions. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen integration among management components, utilize data as a basis for decision-making, ensure equitable distribution of facilities and information, and enhance conservation communication and education to support sustainable management of natural tourism areas.
