This study examines the effectiveness of quality control for 2L JFDA-grade Individual Quick Frozen (IQF) shrimp products at PT Dachan Mustika Aurora Tarakan, which are destined for export markets requiring high quality standards. The evaluation utilized Statistical Quality Control (SQC) based on the proportion defective control chart (P-Chart). Data sources included secondary data—specifically records of production volume and defective products across 56 processing cycles—supplemented by primary data obtained through field observations and interviews with the quality control team. The analysis revealed that the production process was not yet fully statistically stable. This was evidenced by two processing runs exceeding the Upper Control Limit (UCL = 0.01): the 33rd run, with a defect rate of 0.040, and the 49th run, with a defect rate of 0.049.
