Lecture attendance is a crucial component in managing academic activities at universities. At STIHPADA Palembang, the manual attendance process often presents challenges such as delays in data recapitulation, the risk of recording errors, and the potential for attendance manipulation. To address these issues, this study aims to design a QR Code-based attendance system architecture using the Zachman Framework approach. The Zachman Framework was chosen because it provides a comprehensive design structure through six perspectives (Planner, Owner, Designer, Builder, Subcontractor, and Functioning System) and six architectural focuses (Data, Function, Network, People, Time, and Motivation). This research resulted in an architectural design that encompasses attendance data modeling, attendance business process flows, attendance application design, technology infrastructure, and system operational rules and policies. The resulting design is expected to serve as a guideline for developing a digital attendance system that is effective, accurate, and secure, and supports the improvement of the quality of academic services at STIHPADA Palembang.
