This study analyzes the implementation of the Quran Reading Program aimed at improving the Quran reading skills of Grade VII students at MTs Al-I’anah—who are graduates of public elementary schools (SDN)—during the 2024/2025 academic year. A qualitative method using a case study approach was employed, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects consisted of 10 students experiencing difficulties in reading the Quran, with a focus on Hijaiyah letter recognition, pronunciation, and basic tajweed (rules of recitation). The results indicate a significant improvement in Quran reading skills, although the level of achievement varied among students. Supporting factors included teacher support, a conducive learning environment, and routine religious activities. Challenges identified included suboptimal scheduling, low student motivation, limited human resources, and a lack of diverse learning media. The study concludes that the Quran Reading Program is effective, particularly through the use of individual approaches and intensive instruction. To optimize the program, it is recommended to reschedule sessions, boost student motivation, and develop a wider variety of learning media. This research offers practical contributions to the madrasah and theoretical contributions to the development of Quran teaching methods.
