This study aims to explore the implementation of the Storytelling method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and its impact on the emotional intelligence of fourth-grade students at SDN Duren 3 Karawang. The research is motivated by the growing emotional issues among students, especially in managing emotions, developing empathy, and building healthy social relationships. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that Storytelling significantly improves the five core aspects of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. Teachers selected relevant Islamic stories and delivered them both verbally and visually, followed by group reflection. Teacher commitment and school facilities served as supporting factors, while limited time and age-appropriate materials were the main challenges. In conclusion, Storytelling is proven to be an effective method in enhancing students’ emotional intelligence and instilling positive character values.
