This study aims to analyze the perspectives of millennial youth on diversity and the role of moderation in fostering social harmony within a multicultural society. The study focuses on the attitudes, understanding, and practices of moderation demonstrated by the millennial generation in responding to differences in ethnicity, religion, culture, and social perspectives. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and a literature review. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of attitudes and values of moderation emerging among millennial youth. The findings indicate that millennial youth tend to demonstrate inclusive and open-minded perspectives toward diversity, with moderation being understood as an attitude of mutual respect, tolerance, and rejection of extremism. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly in the form of social media influence and opinion polarization. The study concludes that strengthening the values of moderation among millennial youth contributes significantly to maintaining social harmony and reinforcing social cohesion within a diverse society. The findings have implications for the development of educational and social policies that emphasize strengthening the values of moderation and tolerance among younger generations. Furthermore, this study can serve as a reference for educational institutions, youth organizations, and policymakers in designing programs that encourage intercultural dialogue and constructive approaches to managing diversity.
