This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial attitudes on QRIS usage behavior among students of Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA) in Semarang. The development of digital payment systems provides convenience and speed in conducting transactions; however, under certain circumstances, it may encourage consumptive behavior due to reduced psychological barriers when making payments. This study employed a quantitative approach involving 100 university students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the influence of each independent variable on QRIS usage behavior. The results indicate that financial literacy does not have a significant partial effect on QRIS usage behavior. Lifestyle also does not have a significant effect on QRIS usage behavior. In contrast, financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on QRIS usage behavior, particularly in supporting students’ discipline in managing their expenditures. These findings indicate that financial management in the digital era is not solely determined by an individual’s understanding of financial concepts but also by their ability to develop prudent and disciplined financial attitudes. Therefore, strengthening financial attitudes may be an important consideration in promoting responsible digital payment behavior among university students and reducing the potential for excessive spending associated with convenient digital transactions.
