The Balinese language plays an important role as a cultural identity. However, the use of Balinese among the younger generation is declining due to the influence of technological developments. This study aims to describe the structure of pupuh, learning methods, and obstacles to learning sekar alit at Sekaa Santi Widya Kumara Mekar. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The theories used are behaviorism and constructivism. The learning methods used include direct methods, reading, audio-lingual, and practice (drill). Learning obstacles include limited time, difficulty reading gaguritan texts, low interest among the younger generation, and limited learning facilities. The results show that the structure of each pupuh has a different pattern according to padalingsa, while the direct and audio-lingual methods are the most effective methods in learning sekar alit. Learning seka alit also serves as an effort to preserve language and culture among the younger generation.
