This study was motivated by the importance of implementing cooperative economic principles to maintain the sustainability of the Student Cooperative (KOPMA) at Universitas Panca Sakti Bekasi during leadership transitions. Periodic changes in management require organizational management that can ensure the continuity of work programs, business activities, and cooperative governance. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of cooperative economic principles in maintaining the sustainability of KOPMA Universitas Panca Sakti Bekasi during leadership transitions. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the Chairpersons of KOPMA for Periods I, II, and III, as well as the Secretary of KOPMA for Period II. Data validity was established through source and technique triangulation, as well as tests of credibility, dependability, and confirmability. The findings indicate that cooperative economic principles were implemented through democratic governance, member participation, transparency and accountability, as well as education, training, and management regeneration. Democratic principles were manifested through deliberation, management elections, accountability, and the handover of management accompanied by the transfer of organizational documents and information. Member participation was reflected in involvement in meetings, activities, and cooperative programs, while transparency and accountability were implemented through administrative, financial, inventory, and activity records. Education and management regeneration were carried out through mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer across management periods. The sustainability of the cooperative was supported by management commitment, effective communication, cooperation with members and business partners, administrative improvement, and organizational innovation. However, the cooperative continued to face several obstacles, including limited capital, low participation among some members, and limited cooperation with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Thus, the sustainability of KOPMA Universitas Panca Sakti Bekasi during leadership transitions is supported by the consistent implementation of cooperative principles, organizational system strengthening, management regeneration, and the capacity to adapt and innovate continuously.
