<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the level of digital technology proficiency among stu-dents in the Accounting Education Program in Surakarta, given that many prospec-tive teachers still feel unprepared to apply technology in their teaching. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 154 students from the 2023–2025 cohorts. Data were collected via an online questionnaire and analyzed using means and standard deviations. The results indicate that, overall, the stu-dents’ proficiency in using digital technology falls into the “Very Good” category, with the domains of digital security and ethics performing the strongest, while the domains of managing emotions and resolving conflicts in online environments, as well as creating digital content and expressing oneself online, showed the lowest levels of proficiency. It can be concluded that students’ digital technology proficien-cy is generally good; however, their ability to create digital content, as well as their skills in managing emotions and resolving conflicts in online environments, still need improvement. Students are advised to increase their practice in creating digi-tal content, such as instructional videos and other educational multimedia, to pre-pare them as future teachers in the digital age. Additionally, students are encour-aged to develop their ability to manage emotions and resolve misunderstandings during interactions in digital spaces.]]>
